DESCRIPTION
This was spec work for the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 from the (former) collaboration between Adidas and Ye. The rollout was going to be called "Yesurrection" and each shoe was inspired by one of his iconic albums. As part of the release, I wanted to incorporate a statue of a Veiled Vestal, a priestess who was charged with guarding the sacred fire of Vesta in ancient Rome, and by analogy, they also tended the life and soul of the city. In this case, the fire was a representation of his career, and this his rise from the fire.
